  2. Awesome! What a transformation. I love the raised boxes, great for children and the elderly. I'm sure you're getting plenty of food!

  3. Do you have any plans, drawings or other info on the dimensions and construction of your raised beds (including what type of wood you used and the base underneath) as well as the amounts of dirt per box and where it was sourced? Trying to get something similar set up in our backyard and having a better frame of reference would be great. Thanks!

    1. Hi. We didn't have any plans. A friend helped and we actually just traced out the dimensions in the dirt, using whether I could reach to the middle for weeding as a guide. There is no base underneath. The frames are sitting right on the ground and then we put down gopher wire and coved that with dirt. We used redwood as we were told that would hold up the best and last the longest with the constant dirt and water contact. We ordered a shipment of dirt from a nursery and they dropped it off. I don't remember how much we ordered but it wasn't't enough and I had to get more. Hope this helps. Good luck!

  4. Those don't look like standard size boards. Are they 4x18?

    2. I just went out and measured for you. :) The ones are the right are 5x10 and the other two are a little smaller. We cut according to how we wanted to fill up the space.
